Ceud Mile Failte, or a hundred thousand welcomes, to the virtual home of Highland Feast 2010! Now hurtling towards its Twelfth successful year, Highland Feast – as the North’s biggest and best food and drink festival is affectionately known – is a lively celebration of some of the finest produce in the world, namely Highland Food and Drink.

Highland Feast 2010 will see the usual effervescent mix of epicurean events and entertainment, staged in a number of diverse and dramatic locations across the beautiful Highlands and Islands!

Last year’s vibrant Feast menu featured an abundance of tempting options ranging from dinners served with a side of drama, glitzy ceilidhs and cruises, to porridge-making championships and farmers’ markets. Add to this a generous helping of special accommodation deals and you have all the ingredients for the north’s premier food and drink event.

Glen Ord Whisky Distillery is on the outskirts of Muir of Ord, just off the A832, 15 miles west of Inverness. Children under 8 years are welcome but are not admitted to the production areas.

Black Isle Brewery

The Brewery produces and sells a wide range of organic beers and offers tours of the production from April to September. From Inverness, take the A9 north over the Kessock Bridge. T the third turning on the right, signposted www.blackislebrewery.com

Taste of Moray

Midway between Inverness and Nairn on the A96 is It merits a stop for its restaurant alone, but make sure to stroll through the food hall, which stocks a huge selection of Scottish, and especially Morayshire, produce. There's an excellent selection of gift items and household wares.
