Ceud Mile Failte, or a hundred thousand welcomes, to the virtual home of Highland Feast 2007! Now hurtling towards its ninth successful year, Highland Feast – as the North’s biggest and best food and drink festival is affectionately known – is a lively celebration of some of the finest produce in the world, namely Highland Food and Drink.
Highland Feast 2007 will see the usual effervescent mix of epicurean events and entertainment, staged in a number of diverse and dramatic locations across the beautiful Highlands and Islands!
Last year’s vibrant Feast menu featured an abundance of tempting options ranging from dinners served with a side of drama, glitzy ceilidhs and cruises, to porridge-making championships and farmers’ markets. Add to this a generous helping of special accommodation deals and you have all the ingredients for the north’s premier food and drink event.

The Festival sees the four distilleries of Glen Ord, Dalmore, Balblair and Glenmorangie working together on a two day programme of events including master classes, tours, cooper demonstrations and a whisky dinner. Local food and craft businesses are also participating in the festival, giving visitors an added value experience.
The festival launch will help to raise awareness within the local community and encourage local businesses to use it in their marketing.
It will take place in the afternoon of the 26 February at the Glen Ord distillery. An e-mail invitation with further details of the launch event will be circulated shortly. More details are available from Lorna MacLennan, tel: 01997 423 006 or email lorna.maclennan@visitscotland.com
